Just finished watching Hanna with my hubby and boys. Not bad, but certainly not great either. They didn’t explain the movie very well at all.
Saoirse Ronan who played Hanna played the part real well. She was cast just right. But Eric Bana was not great as her father, Cate Blanchett as a red head- no. Her part wasn’t explained very well at all. What was with Tom Hollander, blonde? Why was he even in the movie? Really?
I kinda got the plot of the movie but the explaination was weak. WE had to pause the movie and figure out where Hanna was half the time. Did they get a discount on props and backgrounds? She was in a forest(kinda) with a ton of snow, then in a desert(what happened there), she finds English (from England) tourist standing in the desert (really?), then theres some singing and dancing from some very colorful people near a creek or something, then theres a goat herder, camels, and more sand. Then she walks into a Hotel (in the desert?) where they speak Arabic(really?) and it finally says shes in Morocco. Really after all that?
We were lost a few times. But it wasn’t a horrible movie. Just OK!
